Dr. Saumya Parashar, is a Specialist Micro- Endodontist and Restorative dentist with over 12 + years of clinical experience. She has graduated from highly renowned M. S Ramaiah Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore, India with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and subsequently pursued her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital MAHER (Meenakshi) University, Chennai, India.
Shortly thereafter, she tenured as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics, at the same college instituting and training both graduates and postgraduates in endodontics, while simultaneously practicing as a clinical endodontic specialist for various clinics in Chennai, India.
She is an expert in Microscopic single and multiple sitting Root Canal Therapy for both Routine and Complex Anatomical cases such as pulp canal obliteration/ calcified teeth, teeth exhibiting Paramolar Tubercles, Taurodontism, Concrescence, Talons cusp, locating additional roots or canals in the tooth (Radix Entomolaris, Radix Paramolaris, MB2 canal, Mid mesial canal, extra palatal canals), treating “C”, “O”, “J”, and “Y” shape root canal anatomies. She has Performed latest tooth conservative strategies such as Guided Endodontics with 3D-printed tooth template which have been published in peer reviewed endodontic journals, and Minimum Invasive Dentistry such as Stepwise- Caries Excavation, Pulpotomies, Direct & Indirect Pulp Capping, Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) & Biodentine Perforation, Internal & External Resorption repair, Apexification & Revascularization procedures. She is also proficient and experienced in performing Re-Treatment Micro-Endodontics, Endodontic Microsurgeries (Apicoectomy), Aesthetic Enhancement Procedures with Composite Restorations (Gap closures, broken teeth) & treating post endodontic restorations using Prefabricated/ Custom Cast or Resin Post & Core, Endocrowns, Ceramic & Metal Crowns.

Furthermore, she is the Reviewer for peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Conservative Dentistry (JCD) and Endodontology and serves as a Technical Editor for Journal of Endodontology.
She is an active member of The Indian Endodontic Society, Indian Dental Association and Indian Association of Conservative dentistry and Endodontics.
