Dr. Heena Shaikh, is our Specialist Orthodontist with a Masters in Orthodontics. She has graduated from the renowned Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore. Being a meritorious student, she has acquired the Best Outgoing Student award with a first Rank in her Final year. Shortly after she went on to complete her masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from A.J Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore.
Dr. Heena has dealt with a variety of malocclusions of different ages and is well versed in multidisciplinary Orthodontics. She is up to date with the latest innovations be it aesthetic brackets or mini implant systems. She strongly believes that correcting malocclusions can lead to a better quality of life for the patient both functionally and psychologically. Dr . Heena is also a certified Invisalign Provider and has treated numerous cases using clear aligners
Her foremost strategy is to educate the patient about their dental problems before advocating a treatment plan. This enables patient awareness and participation thereby ensuring successful prognosis.
Dr. Heena is a member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and has contributed to a number of scientific papers and publications. Currently she continues to actively participate in CME courses of both General and Orthodontic nature
